Boy Scout Troop 53
Boy Scout Troop 53 is happy to call White Oak Baptist Church in Red Bank, Tenn. our home.
We are an active troop with weekly troop meetings on Monday nights. Once each month we are off
into the woods somewhere, hiking, backpacking, trying to stay dry or warm. We participate in a
week long summer camp each year. In addition we sometimes plan day outings.
We hope you enjoy our troop web site. The look and design of the site will

Another year is almost over. We have had some good camping trips and some that were just "Okay". We are now at the end of the year and ready for our Christmas Banquet and Court of Honor. Last weekend was spent at Chickamauga Battlefield where we had our Thanksgiving dinner in the Woods. And now we are preparing for the one at home.
The Christmas Banquet will be on Monday December 1. Everyone should register as soon as possible for this. The meal will begin about 6:30 with the Court of Honor being held after that.
Monday, December 8, will be our last troop meeting of the year. This will be a parent and son meeting and the coming year of activities will be discussed.
